Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return merchandise in “unopened, new and unused” condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. “New” means it has not been washed, and it has not been worn: the item must be in sellable condition.  To ensure product integrity and hygiene, we cannot accept returns on intimate items such as diapers, training pants, or underwear.

Unless the item was damaged or defective, we do not refund shipping fees or pay for return shipping costs.  If your order qualified for free shipping, and the return causes the order to fall below the total price required to qualify for free shipping, the actual cost of shipping that order will be deducted from the refund given.

Exchanges of product (e.g. for another size) may incur additional shipping charges. Returned items (other than damaged or defective items) will incur a 15% restocking fee.

EC Wear will accept RETURNS on defective or damaged items within 30 days of receipt. We will either replace the item, defective part, or refund for the item, depending on product availability. After 30 days, or if the item is out of stock, we will refer any damage or defect issues to the original manufacturers.  For products which EC Wear manufactures, we will replace or refund the damaged or defective item or component within 14 days. Please email us with an explanation of the defect or problem with the product and a photo is always helpful.

 

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund until they are packed for shipment, when you are notified by email with your shipment confirmation from Stamps.com. If you cancel your order after this time and your package is still on the premises, you can cancel your order and receive a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.  After the order has shipped, you cannot cancel the order but you may return your order as described above.

Return Instructions

Contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return address.   Please provide your order number, product name or number, reason for return, and the type of return you want (i.e. refund, exchange, or replacement.)  We will send an RMA within two business days.

Returned merchandise must be shipped back to EC Wear within 7 days of receipt of your RMA number.  All items must be unused and unwashed, with any original tags or labels intact.   We recommend you keep proof of postage to facilitate claims in case your shipment is lost in transit.

You are responsible for packing the items you are returning appropriately to prevent damage in the mail. For example, ink from outside an envelope can bleed onto the products through a paper envelope. Please re-purpose a plastic bag or other impermeable layer to protect the products from damage if shipping in a non-waterproof envelope. If you receive your order from us in a biodegradable Eco-Enclose envelope, you can use the same envelope, which is designed for two uses, for your return. This is not required. If items are damaged during shipment back to EC Wear, and are no longer sellable, we regret we must apply a 50% restocking fee for those items.

Items returned without RMA code, in used condition, damaged during shipment from you back to EC Wear, or after 30 days will be refunded at retail minus shipping, minus 50% restocking fee. Please allow up to 7 days to process your request.
